Notabe Quote: Benjamin Franklin

"Think of these things: whence you came, where you are going, and to whom you must account."

- Benjamin Franklin

Two things
- I'm pretty sure Franklin was an atheist.
- I'm positive Franklin was NOT a good role model- he was so bad his son joined the British. He womanized incessently and his wife stood by him the whole time... until he got rid of her.
- He also plagarized many of his famous quotes.

The man was entirely self made though- coming into Phily with literally nothing but the clothes on his back and some bread. Still, not exactly a beacon of decency.

He was a deist.

I don't emulate him as a role model - in fact the only person that I couldn't find some fault with is Jesus Christ. Everyone has faults. Nevertheless, Franklin contributed some good things.

My point in using his quote is that his statement is a wise one. I think it is wise to ponder where you came from, where you are going, and whom you must account.
