That was excellent... I will listen to that again and again.Poor Todd didn't read Hitchens book before the show did he?
That was SO frustrating to listen to.Does Friel think that Hitchens hasn't heard that stuff all before?I listened and kept hearing Friel totally not engage Hitchens' answers and simply talk past him onto his next point. It seems that Friel may think he shared the gospel with Hitchens or something...which he didn't. Hitchens didn't hear a word he said and interpreted it all through his cacophonous misunderstandings of scripture and reality. All Hitchens likely heard was another Christian who hates him, ranting against him nonsensically. I wish Friel, Comfort and Cameron would stick to evangelism and leave the apologetics to those who don't think apologetics is equivalent to steamrolling with the 10 commandments.
lol todd got pwned
I'm a Christian but Todd Friel is a schmuck that tries to blend "Shock Jock" antics with Christian radio, resulting in a lame show. Though I disagree with Hitchens, he had to be thinking about how much time he was wasting during that interview. Hitchens is too well studied on apologetics and various research areas to listed to some goon try to convert him. Friel is a good representative of everything that is wrong with Christianity these days, the whole "We're Right, You're Wrong" attitude is everything that is wrong and ultimately turns everyone off. I feel EVERYONE who is a Christian needs to get involved in some level of Apologetics, simply because of train wreck interviews like this. People WILL ask questions and Christians MUST give answers if it means making an attempt to impact someone's life.
